I failed to mention I'm using FSX Gold, Win7. I have the 750 also, never installed the mod. Is this a mod by Bert? I also have registered FSVIPC and Norton Security. The Caravan EX v2 works fine with no mods. Bigsky 10 did you get it figured out?

Sounds like a problem caused by a saved flight. Go to documents/Flight Simulator X Files and remove any file you may have created. FSX will reset to default with the para-glider. See if that works.

Using FSX Gold, Win 7. Just looked at v2 and it is set at .069 zoom. Actually, it was too close so I backed it away to .039 zoom to get a normal view. That's the fsx default setting. Currently I am not using a saved flight. This is the eye point from the a/c cfg: -12.10, -1.20, 1.95.

On this model changing the power_scalar will result in out of control spins while starting the "left" engine during cold and dark and during airborne restarts. I experienced this and found the cause in Gregs post. If you change it and it goes crazy, it's a known problem. Your results may vary. Thanks for the link.

On page two of the Shrike Aero Commander threads, see Greg Morins' "commander-merlyn-turbo-charger-conversion." Changing the power_scalar will cause erratic behavior. FYI on making changes to increase power.

Same for FSX Windows 7, no reading. The other gauges seem to function normally.

Ok, a little more detail this time. On the middle display, lower right corner, big knob select map, smaller knob, turn right four pages until you have a wx display. To test, go up to the window menu bar and select world, wx, thunderstorms. You should see multi colors on the display screen. It seems to be locked in the 5nm - 40nm position. The range knob does not work. Can't seem to adjust anything. Working radar, no. It's static. Most other Carenado avidyne units you can scroll the range 0-160. I bought the Milviz unit a few weeks ago. It works well with ASN.

It's the small Garmin knob, clockwise. I don't see a way to adjust anything.

Documents OK, just for kicks I uninstalled and reinstalled looking for anything unusual. I'll PM you with some info I copied from the install, as this forum window won't let me cut and paste for some reason. I have a dedicated folder called FltSimX on C:drive.

I have Windows7, FSX Gold. I've owned the Cheyenne since it was released. The v4 update is AS_PIPERCHEYENNE_FSX Compressed zip 216,335Kb. I looked in the Flight Simulator X files, there are no Digital Aviation PA31T files. The last line My Documents is correct, don't know if that has much to do with putting the files into the main FSX folder. This is what I have: FSX Main has a Digital Aviation folder Gauges has eight DA.PA31.dlls Effects a halo texture SimObjects/ Airplanes has four DA31 models

C:\Program Files (x86) causes issues with FSX/Acceleration/Gold. FSX should be located on the drive in a separate folder. You can search that. Look in your AV history and see if it quarantined any files and restore. Have you tried downloading from Aerosoft again, possible corrupt...?

Just installed v1.2. Windows 7, FSX Gold. The 2d AP panel pitch button is black. I can scroll over it, click it on then it appears. Anyone else? Onebob mentioned something similar above.

In FSX the uninstaller is located in the main folder toward the bottom.

The blue lighting is dim. Can it be changed to an amber or off white shade to make reading the panel easier?

Can't turn on the backup efis horizon without opening window7 "engine setup" and selecting ready for taxi. VCockpit01 EFIS850XP_C90GTX!EFIS_VC I'm not going to use the 2d windows for start. Anyone know how?
