some impressions of a flight Mestia - Telavi in Georgia.

Fence #1: Mestia

Excellent shots, and what a most unusual terminal building at Mestia! I like it!

Thanks Mark for commenting. The terminal was created by a German Architect. Obviously, he saw more chances to realize this kind pf project in Georgia than in Germany. And the coexistence of very ancient culture and architecture beside hypermodern buildings and technology is one thing that makes traveling Georgia that attractive.

Was a fun flight - I did it the other way around - thunderstorms and lightning at Telavi today 🙂
Arrival at mestia is really chalenging (especially with a Handley Page Jetstream)

A HP Jetstream should be quite fitting for Mestia, they currently fly there with a Let 410.
