Hi, I am new to the forum so apologise if I am asking about something already covered, could not see my problem discussed.I have recently reverted to FS9 after failing with FSX. I have a Dell XPS linked to a Go Flight system, Saitek rudder pedals and a CH Flight Sim yoke. My problem started in FSX and has migrated to FS9 when reinstalled. My view automatically cycles through Cockpit, Virtual, External and Tower views without touching anything. I have searched for conflicts but without success. This never happened when I originally used FS9.Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.Happy Holidays everyone.K

Hi all. Just wondering if any fellow VPAer is using the CH-throttle together with PMDG or PMDG/POSKY merge. I currently use the merge, but I the autospoilers hasn´t been working properly for years.. For a period it would sometimes snap into extended position on touchdown and very seldom actually deploy properly. Nowadays nothing happens at all when landing. Works fine when airborne. Here are my settings... Does anyone have input on this? Here are my settings: CH control panel FSUPIC Controls-->Sensitivities I have tried fiddling with Null Zone, with no result. Kind regards, Johan

OK.. This is the weirdest thing. I was just looking through captured replays (with the freeware module fsrecorder) and I accidently chose the wrong type for the recorded flight (I had iFly B737-700 instead of -800) and I got an FS9 error message, which stated something about "aircraft initialization failure".. After this, NO iFly 737-800 are to be found in the aircraft list. They are all still there, in the FS9 Aircraft folder, and they are there if I try to edit liveries through the manager... What on earth has happened? And does anyone have a clue what to do? This morning I had a nice flight with a -800 and after this incident, *POFF* gone! (I should also say that I did fiddle around with the spoiler-spoileron ratio in the 800s .cfg, but I reloaded the sim several times during this and the 800s were there all the time. They disappeared after the fsrecorder event.) I have posted this at iFly forum, but I might aswell do it here aswell, as this seems to be non-aircraft related... Any help appreciated! EDIT: I´ve tried to rebuild FS9.cfg but no luck there either. The 800s are GONE. /Johan SOLVED I re-opened the affected aircraft´s .cfg... I had ACCIDENTLY typed an "s" in the very first line.. thus making it not show up.. Now I´ll go into a corner and spank myself. Bye. J

In August 1993, Turkish Airlines went into the airfreight business was with nothing more unlikely... than an Antonov 12 leased from Air Sofia (hence the LZ reg). LZ-SFK was the first ever An-12 to fly without its nose radome, which once housed the ROZ-1 ground mapping radar. 10 more planes would follow suit with this interesting Bulgarian modification (including VEGA with its ill-fated "Tsar Boris"). Unfortunately, info on Turkish An-12 ops is just as scant as why some An-12s flew without their bulging radomes. At least the latter makes a sleeker, better looker IMHO. Radomeless An-12 for FS2004. Work in progress by me. Note: the eyebrows were painted onto the texture; they are not part of the physical model because almost all of the radomeless An-12s had their eyebrows plugged not long after their radomes were removed.

Hey guys,I can't seem to get rid of stutters. I just upgraded to the GTX 560 1GB card and still in the heavy clouds I max out the card at 100% and the stutters start. I know there has to be something wrong if a 2004 program is maxing out a 2010 card. I run AS6.5 and REX Overdrive when this happens. This first picture is showing what FS9 looks like when the card load is max:And this shot is of my inspector settings for FS9 and my card:Does anyone have some suggestions to why this is happening and anyone with the GTX 560 card could possibly share their settings? I also cant max out FS9 settings. I can't get mip mapping above 6 without performance hit and the weather settings can't max either.Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi guys, I've been flying for years and never had this problem until this morning. When trying to run FS2004 I get the 'Please insert FS2004 Disk 4, select OK and restart application' error. BUT: -The CD (disk 4 of FS2004, legally bought) is in the DVD-ROM (also, when I use right click+explore it opens and shows all files no problem meaning CD is not damaged or scratched etc)-DVD-ROM works fine, all other CDs or DVDs open and play ok-No new aircraft/sceneries/files installed since last flight yesterday-Kaspersky anti-virus running as usual, never caused problems with FS9 or FSX before-FSX opens and flies normally without issues Any ideas what it could be? I have a large number of add-on aircraft and sceneries that I've been using for a long time and I don't really feel like re-installing FS2004 form scratch again! Thanks in advance,Chris
