May 11, 20197 yr Hi fellas, Does anyone of you have an idea where the C stands for at airport offices and where it comes from? Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
May 11, 20197 yr It's the location of the air traffic services reporting office. From ICAO: "The letter C displayed vertically in black against a yellow background (Figure 1.10) indicates the location of the air traffic services reporting office.MLS-12D." Edited May 11, 20197 yr by jabloomf1230

Thanks Jay, I am aware of that 🙂 What I meant to ask is why is it a letter 'C' and how and when was decided to use that letter. Is it an Abbreviation? At our homebase EHTE we always say the C stands for coffee 😄 Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
May 14, 20197 yr No one seems to know why the letter C is used. The best guess is Air Traffic CONTROL. Edited May 14, 20197 yr by jabloomf1230
