May 31, 20197 yr ...heading west. Well, there's Sullivan Island State Marine Park under the port wing! I'm either in Canada or Alaska..didn't consult the FMC for the coordinates sorry, but I'd passed Juneau which was away to the south. June 1, 20197 yr I sometimes fly between Juneau and Anchorage (or Vancouver and Anchorage)....Yes, you're right...much of the terrain around this border (CanAlaska...like the usage here)...being probably no man's land and wilderness...it's all a bit difficult to keep track of... Good contrast of color between plane and terrain here, btw. Looks nice!

June 2, 20197 yr Mark: I have e.g. flown the PMDG MD-11 in the past between Vancouver and Anchorage (not very recently, though..). In such cases, I typically use SimBrief to generate a Flight Plan that allows me to capture a RL flightplan from e.g. FlightAware (among other choices that SimBrief provides). SimBrief (generated) Flight Plans are suitable for ready-upload into the various FMSs. But, these days, my flights are usually of not long-haul type...
