June 24, 20196 yr Hello, I am new concerning Flight Simulator 2004 or FlightSimulator 9. I wanted to use the virtual cockpit and installed the F1View.exe.My questions: 1. Do you need an addon for the cockpit or does it work with the standard cockpit in FS2004?I have a mouse with scroll wheel and if I click in the standard cockpit now with the right mouse button on Virtual Cockpit and then hold the scroll key and move the mouse then I still can not see the cockpit from the inside :-(Can you help me please. Thank you
July 12, 20196 yr I never heard of "F1View.exe". There are four viewpoints for almost all aircraft and you cycle between them by pressing "S" on the keyboard. The views, in order, are "cockpit", "virtual cockpit", "tower", and "spot". Some older planes do not have a virtual cockpit.
July 12, 20196 yr Flight1 Viewer should work with any virtual cockpit. I don't use it, since I use a laptop, and sometimes I prefer to use its touchpad instead of a standalone mouse. Thus, no scroll-wheel click. July 15, 20196 yr Here you go... Free File Library F1View Utility for FS2004 (742 KB) - This small module installs into FS2004 and supplies simple mouse-based movements, panning, and more, using the center mouse wheel/button. You can also move past the default view limits of FS2004 (good for strolling through virtual cabins). After you download, please make sure you read the full instructions included.
