July 2, 20196 yr I found a significant problem with FSX that should be easily fixed. I’m at the runway(ready for takeoff), throttle is 0%, slider is all the way back. I move the slider about 1/8th inch forward and the throttle jumps up to 30% and the slider can’t bring the throttle back to 0%. I believe this is the case for all FSX default aircraft - F/A-18, Cessna C172SP, DC-3, Learjet 45. I can’t control airspeed to land. Has anyone heard of or noticed this problem? 🤔 My Extreme 3D Pro slider zeros the throttle for P3D (F-22 Raptor and F35A Lightning II).
July 2, 20196 yr Administrators Welcome to the AVSIM forums! Have you calibrated your joystick using the calibration tool inside the sim? Yes, I saw what you attempted with the tags and I would recommend not doing that again😉 Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
July 4, 20196 yr Author I got a Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle. It goes back to 1% not 0% but better than 30% for the Extreme 3D Pro slider. It’s a start.
July 6, 20196 yr Same here. Minimum 1% with the T16000M. P3D 0% 🙂 AFAIR this problem exists since day 1. Edited July 6, 20196 yr by FDEdev
August 21, 20196 yr Get Spad.Next --- then you can configure the ranges so that just before the end stop is your Idle and at the other end Full.... Thousands of other reasons to have Spad.Next for controller bindings but this will just deal with all of these problems. Les O'Reilly
