FS2 Crew PMDG NGX Reboot won't open gauge

Featured Replies

I have installed NGX reboot several times in the past and have always struggled with getting the gauges to work correctly other than 'black' background when opening any panel.  I did get them to work but I cannot recall what I had to do to get them to work.  I have

  1. made sure antivirus software was not blocking the gauge or configurator app.
  2. Antivirus turned off during installation
  3. made sure that windows firewall was not blocking the gauge or configurator app
  4. Made sure that FS2Crew was installed  to my P3D v4.5 drive and folder.
  5. made sure that the NGX panel has the FS2 window entries

SYSTEM CHECK:

FS2Crew Gauge Present:        OK
PMDG 737 SP1D or Later Installed:    OK
PMDG 737 NGX Options.ini Present:    OK
Enable SDK Data BroadCast Entry:    OK
FS2Crew on Panel.cfg:            OK
Saved Data Integrity:            OK

5. Configurator run as administrator

6. I loaded NGX as a new load (not from a save scenario)

Brian I am at a complete loss of how to remedy this.  This is day 3 attempting to get the gauge to load and the black panels to not appear, to no avail.  I am a proud owner of several of your products and can't fly without them . . ..  so I am currently  . . . . grounded.  :  (

Thanks

Never mind.  I figured it out.  I had to uninstall/reinstall the NGX.  Still putting everything back together but glad to have it working again.  I’ve been flying the TFDI 717 for some time with MCE.

Thanks again!

Interesting, just sent you a ticket.  This fixed it for a while until I check the configurator and it said it was disable, I re-enabled and I am back to black panels . ..   Ticket sent with panel config file . . today.
