July 20, 20196 yr The TOD Pilot2Atc gives me is way past the one the Toliss A319 does even when using the exported fms file from Pilot2Atc as the source for the FMC in the plane. If I follow the decent advice from Pilot2Atc I am way too high on approach. If I use the guidance on the FMC in the plane all is good, what am I missing?
July 20, 20196 yr Commercial Member Most likely your descent rate in P2A is too high, making it calculate a later TOD. Also could need to adjust the planned groundspeed. Dave
July 20, 20196 yr If you set the decent rate in P2A at around 2000 to 2015 fpm your TOD should get relatively close to the one the Toliss MCDU generates. Ideally it should be around 1 to 10NM before the TOD the MCDU gives you, so you can just push the altitude selector and the AP does the rest. If the V dev still becomes to big you can always influence your v speed with the vertical speed selector.
