July 24, 20196 yr Hi, just a little request/idea: When I set the volume of the PM/voices to a comfortable level on/for the ground, it's a little too quiet when I climb out of my origin airport because of the higher engine/wind noise. Could the higher noise level in flight maybe taken into account when setting a volume level? Regards Stu Edited July 24, 20196 yr by disco79stu
July 25, 20196 yr Commercial Member There's the volume level on the Audio Setup Page. Beyond, try using a headset... turning up your speakers. The Airbus cockpit is pretty quiet though... you don't really need a headset. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

I just meant, for example, when I set it to 2 it‘s a perfect volume for me. After takeoff though, it‘s a little to quiet because of the engines roaring. I can hardly heat the checklist. In this phase, volume level 3 would be better. Just like in modern card, where the radio volume increases automatically with higher speeds to compensate for the increased engine/tire/wind noise...
July 25, 20196 yr Commercial Member You'd need to turn it up manually on the Audio panel in that case. I get what you're saying, but sound is one of those subjective things, and if I start auto increasing/decreasing volume people will complain. There's no winning sometimes 🙂 B.
