I may be mistaken but isn't there a destination in Alaska serviced by Alaska Airlines that still utilises an NDB approach?

NDBs are still used in the UK.At London Heathrow (EGLL), Woodley NDB (WOD) is on the COMPTON and SOUTHAMTON SIDs, Chiltern NDB (CHT) on the BROOKMANS PARK SID, BURNHAM (BUR) on the WOBUN SID, Epsom (EPM) on the DOVER and MAYFIELD SIDsLondon Gatwick (EGKK) has one on each of the approaches to 08R and 26L (GE and GY). They are used for final holds and for procedural approaches.

It has occurred to me that once "free flight" becomes the norm, there may develop areas of congestion where the random mix of routes tend to intersect and/or converge. These congested areas may be out in the middle of nowhere, or in more or less predictable areas. Has anyone, likd the FAA for instance, crunched the numbers on this to come up with probabilities and predictions? Just in case you had nothing else to ponder right now.
