First off I have 18 airplanes with the GTN 750 installed.  So I know how to install the GTN 750.  I'm hoping someone here can address the problem I am having.  I have put in a ticket with Carenado, but they just tell me how to install it.  Here is my problem.  I run the program as administrator.  When the program opens and begins installation the green installation progress tape flashes in an instant.  Unlike a normal installation where the green tape takes 4-5 seconds or so.  Just a flash.  When I open the plane in FSX-SE the GTN 750 is not installed.  Never seen anything like it.  The F1 GTN config tool shows that it is installed in the airplane but it is not showing on the actual airplane.  Can anyone think of why this is happening, and possibly come up with a solution?  Thanks for the help.

Got the GPS to install, but it is not functional. Tried to upload a photo from Imgur but failed.  Not the normal looking GTN 750.

Are you running the F1GTN.. exe app, in the SF340 aircraft folder?

Is that what you call "the program"?

If that is the case and it is not executing correctly, I would suggest reinstalling the SF340 and trying again.

From your other post, I gather that this is exactly what you did..

There are two exe files, one to add the Flight1 GTN, and the other to remove it again.

I would run each one and monitor what changes.. the Interior Model file in the Model folder inside the SF430 folder should get replaced each time.

As I said, if this is not executing correctly, I would re-install the airplane and try again.

 

BTW.. did we go through this a year ago??

So I did as you suggested and absolutely nothing has changed.  No matter what I do nothing changes.  And yes we did go thru this about a year ago.  Got frustrated as I am now at spending $45 on the plane and I think $70 on the GTN 750 and can't get it to work. Especially since all of my other airplanes work just fine with it.   Just don't know what else I can do.  Have followed your directions but it just remains the same.

OK - I understand that you are frustrated.. but you've got the GTN to work in 16 other planes, so I would suggest you got good value for your $70 purchase..

 

As for the SF340.. I have no idea why you are having trouble with it.. if Carenado can not help you figure it out, maybe it is time to throw in the towel and ask for your money back..
