Hi 2nd flight now and the FO wont start the apu after landing he turns on the apu master and thats it.

There are multiple Config options that control how the APU is handled after landing.

Please check how you have your APU set.

START APU A. LDG CHECKLIST: YES

You probably have that one set to YES, meaning the PM will turn on the APU during the After Landing Checklist.

 

Correct i have that set to yes but the fo doesnt start the apu i have to step in and start it and apu bleed at the gate

Are you saying "START" during the APU challenge?

That's the trigger if using that option.

 

my mistake im using button control

So when you pressed the Main Button for "Start", did the APU start?

 

I have silent after landing set and for some reason the fo just turns on the apu master and wont start it

main button sequence after landing is lights after landing check and parking check thats all i see in the main panel

ill try without the silent After landing  check and see if it works

The solution is to set this option to: NO

START APU A. LDG CHECKLIST: YES / NO

 

Then the PM will start the APU during his after landing flow.
