pop ups in VR

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had this problem?

C421 in VR:

All pop-up windows work in VR except the GPS (shift+1) That one only works on the monitor.

No amount of moving the key bindings work i.e. swapping the GPS to shift+2.

An odd one.

I have opened a ticket but in the meantime...anyone?

I do not use VR, but Window00 (shift+1) is the "main" window in FSX/P3D and as such I am not surprised that it might behave differently than the other windows.

IMHO, Carenado/Alabeo are misusing this window as a popup in many of their airplanes, and I usually move whatever gauge they put there to a new window, just as a matter of habit..

What happens if you create a new window08 and put the GPS in it.. does it pop up with shift+9?

I've never had a 'no show' pop up in any Carenado/Alabeo before. In fact, as I said, it shows up in pancake view just not in VR.

Carenado have answered my ticket with:

"Thank you for your feedback.
We are going to check it and fix it for a future version of this aircraft.

Regards, "

Whether that means they know the cause or not, we shall see.
