REX EF SF not running

Featured Replies

Since installing the latest Windows 10 update (or rather, since it installed itself) I can no longer start EF or SF.

I have checked administrator right. It briefly loads (appears for about 5 seconds in Task Manager) then it disappears.

Any ideas?

Did some digging. Seems to be related to the latest Win10 update. I uninstalled the update, and all is well again!

I've Win10 with latest updates and EF (SF) works well. You don't need to run SF when running EF because it recognizes if SF is installed and will load the required data from there.

Thanks, I am aware. After EF wouldn’t start I tried starting SF (just to test) and it wouldn’t start either.

It seems random. Some people are having no issues, others are????

Look at Windows Security threat history. It might have caught it and disabled it from running without even notifying you. You can allow it from there.

There are several reports of this.  I don't use EF or SF, but P3D doesn't run for me with the new W10 update.  Had to uninstall.
