Are there any plans to support Microsoft's upcoming flight sim

Featured Replies

Hi there

Do you guys have any plans to support the new upcoming flight simulator by microsoft?

Something like a new purchase option for a brand new MCE, I'm just curious if you guys considered checking the test builds and thought about bringing MCE to it.

Definitely looking forward to it.

May not even require a re-purchase if it turns out to be using a very similar interface to other Microsoft flight sims (that includes P3D).

We don't believe anyone can build a flight sim from scratch in 3 or even 5 years, unless you have generic items everywhere.

And even then, it would be at least 5 other years before enough content (scenery and aircraft) is added to make it more appealing

Gut feeling is that it will be using the "MS Flight" graphics (which is an improvement similar to what P3D did), with all FSX capability (plus the benefit of 64 Bit ) and some Dovetail additions (rain effects), with augmented reality using streamed content where appropriate.

It's a winning combo.

Glad they revived the franchise.😋

Good to hear. I can't really imagine moving to the new sim without MCE. 🙂

Good to hear as well! There will be a good chance that i can fly with my friends on the new sim as a blind pilot. I know that accessibility advocates are working close with microsoft so maybe there will be new internal tools for easier flying as well.

Not sure if anyone has seen this review, but hopefully this gets the MCE devs looking ahead to whats coming. Lots of good info. Video is about 35 mins long. Let me second on what RALF9636 said, I can't fly without my MCE!!!😁
