September 24, 20196 yr Hoping Someone here can help a FSX transferee to XPlane 11. I have a Saitek Pro Stick and Throttle which I have used to set up the Aerosoft Twin Otter Betta and Reverse thrust using FSUIPC in FSX no problem. I have attempted to do the same with the RWDesign Twin Otter V2 but am struggling to find a sweet spot for both Beta and Reverse thrust. I have set up the Carenado PA31T using the XPlane Defaults by ticking the XPlane "has beta/reverse detents" box and very pleased with that but don't seem to be able to emulate that with the RWDesign Twin Otter. If anyone has been able to set it up I would very much appreciate a steer in the right direction. September 29, 20196 yr I use a CHProducts throttle and just went into Joysticks and set the beta and reverse there. Xplane has very extensive joystick settings including setting curves.

I created a profile for helos that has collective mapped to my throttle quadrant, so I was thinking I could do something similar for the DHC-6. Your comment confirms that though and I'm going to tinker with my throttle in settings.
February 15, 20206 yr RWDesign's Twin Otter doesn't have beta modelled. You can turn it on in planemaker but won't get the throttle lever visuals. Or try the set of patches I've put together, that includes this change https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/57247-dhc6-v2-tweaks/
February 15, 20206 yr Never mind. I had FS on the brain. But speaking of Beta thrust. i found the Carenado SAAB 340 works great. I believe it has to be modeled though.🙂 Edited February 15, 20206 yr by Adrian123
