October 27, 20196 yr Hello, Is it possible to use a 2nd joystick in place of a mouse when using mouse view please? If so could this cause the view to always return to the chosen default by self centering? I can see a lot going for this idea but is it feesable? Thanks for any help Phil
October 28, 20196 yr Yes, it's possible to map the X and Y axes to "Camera left/right" and "Camera up/down" in the joystick axis settings menu. You can map an additional axis to "Camera zoom" if you have one available. It seems clumsy to me, compared to using a hat switch on the joystick for those same views, with an additional button programmed to re-center the view. But it should work. Edit to add: I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure if Camera Left/Right is the same thing as rotate with the mouse view. October 28, 20196 yr Mouse free looking is also possible with a webcam, a piece of cardboard, a bit of printed paper, a hat and a bit of improvisation regarding the mount. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=opentrack+aruco Needs some tweaking for the curves and possibly X-Camera (freeware) to switch between mouse and head look (XP's default method sucks), but otherwise works well.
