And I'm fully anticipating a subscription of either $5 or $10 a month (probably $5) for access to the "live" Azure-powered version of the game, that will also include access to any future stuff Asobo make for the game, such as more aircraft. Or more likely, they might fold access in as part of Game Pass, in the hopes that simmers will just sign up for that (Game Pass is awesome, BTW). Otherwise, that's a lot of data and processing they are gonna be pushing across Azure over the next however many years, for nothing but your initial buy-in price. And frankly, if you consider how much the average sim nut probably spends on third party add-ons in a year, $5 a month or something for the live servers and a decent stream of new "free" high quality plane models and stuff from the devs themselves, seems like a pretty decent deal to me, if you're really serious about a high quality, good looking sim (and if this sim delivers the goods). Well I'm glad you're not in charge of marketing this game 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
November 2, 20196 yr I think most people are low in their estimates. I have a feeling there might be different versions? However I'm sure there will be expensive DLC aircraft. I am guessing a subscription and initial cost. My guess is also they will release End of 2020 as early access for well over $100. I might even say closer to $200 along with a subscription of like $9.99 per month or something. My strategy is to purchase some large terabyte drives and DL the scenery I fly which is generally California with some other areas like Hawaii and Alaska. Then probably stop the subscription and fly in offline mode. We will see. All speculation at this point. Whatever happens they can take my money. I'm all in as this is the flight sim I have been waiting for all of my life. and I'm old.
