Um I think expecting a 2030 release is not realistic. We have to remember that 2024 has effectively been frozen in time for over a year, where major feature implementation is concerned. SU6 is the first update they've presented where main objective is new features, instead of bug fixes. They have a lot of ground to cover to continue to make the sim appealing and take up revenue from the marketplace. We also have to keep in mind that Jorg said that the next release would first go through open beta testing for at least a year first. I don't see that happening in 2027.

This one hits me right in the nostalgia. I used to watch them operating at our local airport when I was a kid. I always liked the way the nose looked. This will probably be my first Carenado purchase.

The issue with the hotel mode bug is that if you turn on the prop brake without powering it up properly, the animation of the right prop gets bugged. The engine will function and generate thrust as it should, but the prop won't animate at all. The blades will flatten out and not spin.

The prop brake bug is still there. It is unbelievable that Hans put this out with a bug that is literally years old smh.

After updating the ATR, you might not be able to find it in your library. All you need to do is restart the sim and it will magically appear.

Well it worked for him and with 2024, reinstalling isn't that big of a deal. The real takeaway here is that this video serves as him taking his foot out of his mouth for rushing to downgrade speculation.

I gave you the better part of the day to show something so I'll clear this up now. Seb never said anything like this. What was said on the last Q&A was that limitations of the data used for live weather, prevents them from placing a cloud, rain etc in the exact spot it would be in real life. This, of course is more than reasonable. He never said anything about the data provider limiting their ability to improve the way clouds look. On the contrary, he has said that a rewrite of the live weather algorithm would allow them to depict thunder storms that look the part and so on.

I did think that as well to be honest but then again, the M600 seems to be very similar to the M500 he already released so maybe it doesn't require all of his attention and the wait for the Phenom won't be very long.

Proper weather radar implementation too, which is huge! Sure, I was a little disappointed that they didn't have anything concrete to say about cloud rendering but I'm not going to have a fatalistic attitude about it. As I said earlier, I've seen many people say we'd never get weather radar tilt, yet here we are.
