November 2, 20196 yr Hi All. I currently run ENVSHADE/TEX/ActiveSky for modeling/ASCA for sky color/SkyForce for clouds/text. I've seen some very nice looking screenshots of TS. Do you guys recommend disabling ENVSHADE and going with TS? 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Funny you should ask, I have been using envshade for quite a while. up until 2 days ago, I switched to tomatoshade to switch it up. and am loving it with R&D preset.
November 2, 20196 yr Author Nice. So do you just download ts then get that preset? Do you also have to get the individual aircraft profiles? If they do have PBR, then don't touch it for the particular aircraft. You can also opt not to use advanced reflections altogether. If you want to use reflection profiles, then get them from IniBuilds. R&D Presets TS profile is great (and even better with Uncharted 2 alternate tonemap), but their reflection packs are complete garbage and also make certain cockpit elements look completely off.

I tried to get it working on 4.5H1, but the interface was behaving really odd so I gave up on it. Apparently there is just a small configuration modification that has to be made in order for it to work correctly. You can read the instruction given by @Rogen I will try it myself again at some point. It is purely up to your preferences.
November 5, 20196 yr Author one of the things I'm noticing now that I have TS installed is that the Anti aliasing appears to be less effective. I notice more jaggy lines. Previously I had run 4MSAA. Now even with 2xSSAA they are still there. Running 8xMSAA appears to help however. Has anybody found a best practice to deal with this? 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
