Hey Steve-

Thought I'd mention that I used to use your .bat file to start and assign AM's to add ons but have moved over to FSUIPC's Run= command. Works perfect.

Cheers,

Mark

Just thought. Might be worth  mentioning that the FSUIPC method only starts those apps at one point during the start of the sim. I find that's just perfect for some programs. Some others I might want to run  with and without the sim running, in which case the .bat method provides the answer. Not forgetting there are also a variety of tools that can do it. I think the GTN was one of the first to provide the facility, and IF10 of course which always had the full gamut of good ideas incorporated for perfecting performance.

I'd suggest you use the facilities provided in the RXP GTN and the RXP GNS V2.

if you want to change the trainer affinity settings with external tools it will most likely fail.

Yes, it's a point I usually stress; the bottom line is that any program that has its own handling for affinity, including the simulator itself, should not be controlled by another program.

I do. I use FSUIPC to manage AM with FXRealWx, LittleNavMap and STB. AM in P3D is managed thru the .cfg file.
