November 19, 20196 yr Hi, if I was to update p3dv4.4 to 4.5 (Full Update/reinstall,) how would I do that? I have Tomatoshade, SF3D, Enviroforce, gsx, pmdg, aerosoft, qualitywings, blackbox, plus many addon sceneries (Flytampa, Areosoft, etc...) Would I have to uninstall them and reinstall them after updating p3d, or can I just update p3d with all addons installed?
November 19, 20196 yr I would uninstall the 4.4. Client (only) and then install the 4.5. Client. Delete the Shaders and restart P3D. That should be it.. Edited November 19, 20196 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
November 19, 20196 yr I recently updated from 4.4 to 4.5 and I did (minus the shader part) what Bert suggested. It was pretty quick and easy.
November 19, 20196 yr You might want to install the Content.msi also. There apparently are several visual fixes (such as the rotating airport beacon) in it. Nothing different than installing the Client.
