Searched locally for a copy of FSX and it could not be found :-(So I stopped by my local EB Games where I have it reserved and had him look in the computer. He says it was updated this morning and it now says October 10th. The EB Games web site still says October 17th so it might not be worth much but thats what they are saying.

EB Games store computers are updated before the website. ;)

Just stopped in my local EB Games. They don't have it today, but upon checking their computer the manager said it was "in transit", and there was a very good chance they would have it tomorrow (Friday), and if not then, almost certainly by Saturday.I asked if there would be an issue with the "official release date" from Microsoft. The manager, a gravel-voiced, no-nonsense guy who looks like a retired Marine Corps NCO said, "We don't 'do' release dates in my store. The guy was just talking big.You can't get much lower on the totem pole in the video game industry than EB Games manager. The second his District Manager comes in, I bet he folds, because I've been in that sort of position, and they fire you without thinking twice.
