December 1, 20196 yr Hi all, I have been making some tweaks to a scenery for Toronto and I have been getting random buildings in the middle of the apron. I have never seen these buildings on the CYYZ premises or anywhere else. I do not have any other CYYZ files installed. Any help would be appreciated. Edited December 1, 20196 yr by gcrewmc

Something you are making, or something you purchased? 6 hours ago, gcrewmc said: and I have been getting random buildings in the middle of the apron. Did you accidentally delete an exclude cvx? Are you editing CYYZ using a tool (ADE?) ? Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
December 3, 20196 yr Author I was modifying a freeware scenery that already had a CVX. I did add an extra building could that be why the extra buildings pop up even when the CVX is in play? I am using ADE.

December 3, 20196 yr In the ADE View menu, make sure that exclusions are visible (orange rectangular boxes). Then check that there are exclusions that prevent the default airport buildings from displaying in the sim. The other possibility is that you do have another 3rd party version of CYYZ installed and you don't know about it. ORBX apps such as Vector silently install revised airports and their CVX files, as do various payware AI traffic add-ons. You can use Little NavMap to see what files are being used for CYYZ.

I've noticed a lot of times if you're modifying a pre-v4 scenery (like an FSX scenery, or a P3Dv1/2/3 scenery) you have to be very careful about viewing the excludes in ADE as Jay mentions. If you don't keep an eye on them, you might get the double-default-buildings thing in v4. I haven't had time to really dig into why, but I do know some (similar) things have changed over the years regarding airport bgl's, such as the taxiway visibility flag needing to be set for older sceneries being moved to P3Dv4. December 5, 20196 yr Author I think I fixed the problems, I just added more exclude zones to where the buildings popped up. Thanks for the help!
