December 7, 20196 yr Hello, when I activate "start sequence is 2 then 1", the lower eicas switch to the hydraulic display, not to the engine display. did i do something wrong? Thank you. Igor. Igor Bischi
December 7, 20196 yr Commercial Member Hi Igor, Looking at the code, when using SOP 2, the FO presses: SYS then a second later: ENG We can't read what's actually in the lower screen due to SDK limits, so the FO is a bit blind in this area. Sometimes you may need to help him. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member Follow the manual to the letter and it should work. Remember, as I said above, we can't read the state of "everything" 100 percent, including the state of the lower screen. We're limited by the data provided by the SDK. So in some cases we just have to assume the screen is in a certain state when the FO presses buttons. Clear as mud? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 17, 20196 yr Thank you for your answer. The strange thing is that in the ngx version I didn't have this problem. alberto
December 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member You must be doing something different. Try following the tutorial again to the letter. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 17, 20196 yr Author Hello. Me neither have the problem on Ngx version. I do exactly the same things on both version, following the tutorial "to the letter". Thank you. Igor Igor Bischi
December 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member Igor, which SOP are you using? And are you running the Pre-Flight events? Are you announcing the engine start sequence? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 17, 20196 yr Author SOP2. I run pre-flight events and the engine start sequence announcement. Igor Igor Bischi
December 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member When you announce the Engine Start Sequence, is it detected (green bar). What's already on the lower screen when you announce the engine start sequence? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 17, 20196 yr Author Hello. Just tried both versions, starting both from LONG panel state. All preflight events in both versions. In the following four links you can view: in the first two links rispectively the NGX version before and after "Start seq is 2 then 1". In the last two links rispectively the NGXu version before and after "Start seq is 2 then 1". As you can see the lower EICAS is blank int the "before" pictures, but in the "after" pictures the content of lower EICAS is different between NGX and NGXu versions. December 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member I just tried in the U... exact same setup. Black lower screen, then in Button Control in SOP2 I commanded "Start Sequence is blah blah blah". And the Engine page showed up. Maybe for 1.1 I'll try increasing the delay between the time the FO presses SYS button and the MFD ENG button. I'll up it from the current 1 second to 1. 5 seconds. Maybe that will help on your system. Send me a Support Ticket and you can try it now. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
