Why does the F/O always set the trim setting to the wrong setting??  It never matches the FMS.  Its been this way for years. Sometimes its only a tille off and other times its way off??  Can this be fixed?

We can't read the trim value in the FMS due to SDK limits.

We do the best we can with what data is available to us, but it won't always be perfect as in the case of the takeoff trim.

You need to watch the FO, just like the real world.  Cross check him to ensure he doesn't screw up.

 

Its just a hassle to change it back everytime. If my F/O was that bad, Id fire him!  Oh well.  Thanks anyway.
