Hi Bob,

The apostrophe character in your folder structure is causing the SQL queries to fail.

I suggest you uninstall AI lights Reborn, change the folder name to remove this special character, and re-install AILRP.

These steps will fix the problem.

Mission Control...we have a problem....

If I leave the folder name as is..then AI LPE finds it....If I rename my folder from Bob's to Bobs..AILPE doesn't throw up an error BUT all of my corporate aircraft flight plan bgl's compiled with AIFP are now red and out the window and hours and hours and hours of work.....is there anyway around this by AILPE not seeing or carrying about the '  ? in the folder name?

If I click "ok" on the error..then I guess the lights are ignored in the aircraft?

Thanks Simbol!!

Hi Bob,

What is AIFP? Surely you can update it to use the new folder name?

AIFP is AI Flight Planner. I use this to compile my AI flightplan BGL files.

I went in and changed the simobject folder name Bobs and also in Lorby-si in the simobject changed it there and AIFP managed to find the new name and the airplanes...whew...

This was a post from koala at alpha india forum:

hello, like simbol said in that thread you need to rename the folder for AILPE to work.

So then i guess you did that via the file explorer, but it's not enough, if you simply renamed the folder, P3D (and AIFP) will not see it anymore because the old folder (the one with ' ) is probably still referenced by one of the P3D configuration file.

--> so you need to also rename the folder inside the configuration file

with p3d it should be in this file : C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\simobject.cfg

[Entry.10]
Title=AI Aircrafts
Path=F:\DynLinks\P3D\AIAircrafts
Required=True
Active=False

so if renamed my folder to AIAircraftsXXXX via the file explorer, i would need to change with the same value otherwise the simulator and AIFP will not find it anymore

now with p3d the it might be in another file depending on how it was installed (add-on.xml), but try first the simobject.cfg file

Thanks,

BobM.
