December 27, 20196 yr Hi guys, I got a 4k monitor for Xmas and it has made a massive difference to my flight sim. I had previously held off using certain programs until I got the new monitor. Yesterday I installed Tomato Shade for the first time and watched some You Tube videos on how to use it. I am using the RD preset which seems to be working OK. However, I now have an excessive amount of haze wherever I fly from. For example, if I take off from Tenerife (an Island I know very well), I can barely see any of the other Canary Islands until I am very close to them. Before Tomato shade they were visible from far. I also took off from San Diego and climbed to FL34 but the haze was so excessive, I could barely see the ground. I don't have Active Sky or REX Sky force at the moment and therefore only use the default weather. Visibility is set to unlimited. I like the haze realism but it's too much - is there a setting within TS that can tone it down? I have searched Google and most answers I have found appear to relate to settings in Active Sky or REX which isn't applicable in my case. Thanks in advance
December 27, 20196 yr You find the option in the 'Atmosphere & Fog' tab. try lowering the haze and/or rayleigh effects AMD 7 7700X, 32GB DDR5, RTX 5060ti 16GB, 2 x Samsung 1TB NVMe, 1 x 4TB sata SSD, Windows 11 Prof

I always had too much haze and was not able to get it working really well. I changed to envshade. Regards Urmel
