Before when I used this software I could load the 747 and get the voice to do all checklist and setup without using a mike but now I cannot find the way to do this with the newer version of MCE.

If you have flows for the aircraft you're flying, you can indeed use it without microphone as follows.

Go to <Command> tab and click <Voxscript>

You can start a flow by selecting it and clicking <Test>

Not sure which 747.

If it's iFly 748, you need to update MCE to latest version.

Also, run the app wizard briefly

Windows Start->All Apps->Multi Crew Experience->Run app wizard.

No need for speech training.

Should see pre-made floes after that.

You could copy those from PMDG folders.

Go to \My Documents\Multi Crew Experience\Myuvoicescripts\Copilot\Aircraft\ folder.

Some aircraft have pre-made ones, others don't.

Either copy and paste existing flows, or make your own, using trigger sentences oif your choice.

Hi, you could take a look on Avsim Library. I did a few Voxscript flows for various aircraft, X Plane as well. There's even one for a favourite of ours, the B-17, in FSX of course!

If the link above doesn't work just go into Avsim Library and search David herky.

If you download any flows, it will give you a few extra sound wav files you may use.

If you experiment with the Voxscript and Voxkey programs, you can do flows for all kinds of stuff. For example, GSX in P3d have a system of on screen menues for using their Jetways. Using a combination of Voxkey and Voxscript you can ask your first officer to activate them for you. You can order three Jetways to connect to your 747, all by voice command from MCE!😉 That's P3d of course.

Regards

David
