Help with NAV using GTN750

Featured Replies

I seem unable to initiate NAV using the GTN 750.   I have it on " FMS" and GTN on GPS.  HDG works fine.  Any suggestions.

Hello

Make sure Your PFD shows GPS in Green (Press LSK2 so it reads Preset VOR1),  On the GTN750 make sure CDI is set to GPS. Then on the autopilot hit NAV.

That should enable GPS Navigation.

Please note sometimes it takes more than one click for it to engage.

Not sure that is the right PFD shown in the picture..

I have made some changes to the autopilot and PFD to make my RXP GTN 750 work..

See topic below..

You may be able to try that panel and replace the RXP GTN by the "other one" if you do not mind editing the panel.cfg file..

You are correct Bert.

I miss read the topic title and thought it was for the FA50.

So are you saying I need to make the changes you describe in your attached thread to make the GTN work as it is supposed to work?

Send me a PM and I can send you my latest panel mods to try..

You will have to replace the RXP GTN references by the F1 version, if that is what you have installed.
