During pushback copilot will start engine #2, but will not start #1. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Well, I thought I was, but what I found is that if the pushback is ended prior to having the copilot start #1 (after him starting #2) that the flow skips the starting #1 option.  Apparently that's the way it's supposed to be, just sayin...

Are you using our manual or a cheat-sheet manual.

From our manual... check #4 especially....

ENGINE START:

  1. If a pushback is required, the FO will start the engines so the Captain can monitor the pushback and ATC.
  2. If a pushback is not required, the Captain will start the engines.
  3. If Engine #2 is to be started at the gate, the Captain would start #2.  But if Engine #1 is started during pushback, the Captain will ask the FO to Start Engine #1.
  4. If Engine #2 was not started at the gate, do not start Engine #2 until the pushback is complete.
       SPECIAL BUTTON CONTROL NOTE:

*If the aircraft is moving (for example, during pushback), you will automatically command the FO to start the engines himself.  If the aircraft is not moving, you will automatically announce that you are starting the engines.
