Suggest you check whatever hardware you are using for ground steering, and make sure autorudder is off if you are not intentionally using it. BTW, what sim are you using? Al

Note it is usually safest to uninstall a previous version before installing a new version, and after running the uninstaller, best to check for and delete any files that remain at the original install location before running the new install. Could you elaborate a bit on what you mean above by " severe wobble ". For example, during the takeoff run does the plane move back and forth repeatedly between left and right without any rudder input? You might check to see if there is some kind of problem with your brakes. Al Edited February 21, 20206 yr by ark
February 21, 20206 yr Author Yes I use the Windows 10 to uninstall previous before installing new one Rapid wobble is from left to right during take off and landing -no rudder input Nothing in flight or at rest Sounds like brakes-no brakes applied on take off though No joystick/keyboard brake settings have been changed by me Flew the Carenado version for comparison-there is a tendency to roll when turning if over vigorous braking applied Thanks for your input

In P3D under Options - General - Information - Information text, you can turn on Parking Brake and Brake messages. I would turn these on if not already on to see if you get any messages during takeoff/landing roll, and also check if you get correct messages when you do apply the brakes and parking brake. Do you use FSUIPC for your controls? Al Edited February 21, 20206 yr by ark
February 21, 20206 yr Author Thanks for that info- those messages were already turned on No I do not use FSUIPC There is also a constant repeated message during this “wobbly”take off saying -“check trim” xxd09 Edited February 21, 20206 yr by xxd09 Spelling

If not you will get the above trim warning message. Also on takeoff the autopilot should be OFF (which means the AP light on the warning panel should be ON, which seems backwards in a way but the AP light is to warn you the AP is off), the slats should be deployed (first flap setting), and the red TO CONFIG light on the warning panel should be OFF.
