October 13, 200619 yr It looks nice! http://www.fsinsider.com/Although their "order my copy" link had me thinking they'd ship it now... It is just a link to msn shopping, which is a meta-shopper app which collects online retailers. Still gotta wait 'til tuesday (hey, that's an 80s band). October 13, 200619 yr Author I was just going to post that myself, glad I looked through some more of the messages first :->Tim Tim http://fsandm.wordpress.com
October 13, 200619 yr I dont have FSX yet but because of this link of the insider I got to learn about many new features I had never heard of yet and posted it on this thread. http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=357687&page=I am now back to being excited about getting FSX and using it along with fs9 to get the best of both worlds. Unlike prior versions I will be one to move over to FSX slowly.
October 13, 200619 yr I hope the site is updated on a regular basis, it looks like a great link between the FS team and the general community. BTW congrats on the MVP Owen.
October 13, 200619 yr The plan is that it wil get updated frequently. We now have (for the first time ever) a whole team devoted to interacting with the community.
October 13, 200619 yr Perhaps when it gets updated from time to time Avsim could post a mention to it on their front page?!
October 13, 200619 yr >BTW congrats on the MVP Owen.Hi David - thanks much!!Best,Owen *****<br>J. October 13, 200619 yr Oh, you can bet we are going to do that, and a whole bunch more. AVSIM will be, if the plans come to fruition, providing content for FSInsider. :)
October 13, 200619 yr Owen,I really enjoyed going through all the mission brief on the site. IMO commercially released missions is the next big area of 3rd party expansion we can expect.I am also anxious to get that FSX desktop weather program when the link can be fixed. I wont have FSX for a few days yet but that thing looks downright fun & useful for FS and general purposes.
October 14, 200619 yr Author Hi Ryan,Please try out the Feedback link at the bottom of the page with that broken link and report it there. We need to test the feedback system on the new site anyway, and this is even useful information :->Tim Tim http://fsandm.wordpress.com
