Hi Bobby, I haven't installed the 'no reflections patch', as someone has pointed out already my main problem is with the stratus cloud, seems to flicker and give big blank textures when flying through them?Steve

Hello Danon:Just one point of clarification?I guess I addressed two different things which confused the issue somewhat. I aplologize to the original poster for getting off track.As I understand it, in the original post, the issue was scenery flashing. I regressed to the twinkle bit which is really another issue. (Trees, building tops etc. while your plane is in motion).Through your prop in the VC mode, are you seeing flashing or simply trees and other things that are contantly twinkling. If it is the twinkle bit, this is interesting as I almost only fly in the 2D mode where the prop does not show up. In fact trees twinkle in the spot plane mode as well on my system (FSX only).Happy flying:RTH

Just wondering if we have come to a fix with this. I still have the flashing runways (paved areas) no building flash, just the paved areas of an airport on final. The runway flashes, looks ripped and torn, and flashes, and the taxiways. This is not a driver issue, as I have been through 3 sets hoping it would be fixed somehow. Also not overheating, it seems to be ATI related. THIS IS NOT CLOUD FLASHING. My weather looks fine, clouds are all good. No buildings flash, this is not VC panning twinkle. Only on final, only at about 500agl and only the runway paved textures. #####??Danon O.
