Hi,

Are you getting this message every time?

Started to get the message 3 days ago and the message keeps occurring each time I load either a saved flight or commence a new flight

Would you let RXP and the community know what version of the GTN you have in current use, as well as the version of the Garmin Trainer?  Would be helpful.

Hi,

I was about to ask and you've beaten me Franck!

@raknal Can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see RXP GTN User's Manual for file/path).

In addition, is this happening with the GTN 750#1 only or the GTN 750#2 as well?

Hi, folks:
For a few days now I've been having this same failure in my case, it only happens to me with one plane (Siai Marchetti from JRollon). I have to say that it used to work properly.
I use this addon in several aircrafts and in none of them this error happens to me.
The version of the GTN 750 I use is 2.5.23.0 for XPlane 11 (and according to the simulator menu it is currently updated to the latest version).
The plane uses the GTN750 #2. I can send you the .ini configuration files for this aircraft.

I have tried to search in the Trainer's manuals where to find the log files and I have not been able to find them. If I have located the installation path but I have not been able to find any log file.

According to the Garmin Trainer I have installed the GTN version (v6.62).

Thanks for your help.

Are you sure this is the GTN sound alert and not the aircraft?

What about setting the GTN sound volume to zero and compare?

Sorry to answer so late. The times we are currently living in Spain due to the problems of the Covid-19 have kept me away from our hobby.
Jean-Luc, thank you very much for your answer. In my case I can confirm that the alert was from the GTN without any doubt even on the bottom of the GTN, in yellow, appeared the review of GPWS Fail and so did the voice of the same GTN.
In my case I finally solved it, how? I looked at the GTN's configuration and noticed that the option of random failures was marked. I unchecked that option and when I restarted the GTN it worked correctly.
Can I understand that in my case this was the reason?

Hi,

I'm glad you've find a way to solve it.

Another user has reported anytime he activates the 'Use Failures' if tails the COM panel. I've not investigated this one yet because of the recent computer failures I've mentioned in my post about P3D5 but I'll look into it once we have our production systems back to their 100%.
