Crossing the Red - #7

Crossing the Red - #7

The route resumes at Norseman (YNSM) and proceeds 90 miles south to Esperance (YESP).  We have crossed the Red.  From here we will journey across the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.  Our route stops include Ravensthorpe, Gairdner River, Albany, Denmark,  Manjimup, and Margaret River.  We will finish at Busselton (YBLN).   This will set us up for the Crossing the Red Finale (Date TBD)

Documentation
The Crossing the Red 2020 - Pilots Guide Pt3 file contains updated flight plan with start at Norseman (YNSM) and part 3 of the Pilots Guide Pt 3.   In Part 1 of the Guide we had the Marree Man, in Part 2 the Nullabor Nymph.  I could not top those, but for part 3 I did find a Cyclops for you.  The guide and plan can be found
here.

Scenery Note: Orbx Freeware:  YBLN Busselton Airport

Aircraft:   The distances between the airstrips varies between 20 and 90 miles and the total length is 497 miles.  I will fly the King Air.  As always, you are free to fly what you like.

Note: The finale of Crossing the Red will conclude the way we started with a group flight in Tiger Moths.  I will be making some adjustments to include some additional sight seeing

After a disastrous start with a C310, I swapped to a C421, much to the consternation of fellow travellers. Sorry about that. Having got the transport sorted out, it turned out a very interesting, nay, entertaining flight. Coronavirus was discussed, poo pooed or treated with abject fear/horror depending on ones outlook. FPS/'performance' made a valiant effort to be heard.

A good evening was had by all.

Thank you Jeff. Please can we have another Australia leg soon?
