Touch and gos

Featured Replies

Hello.

Is there an Option to fly repeated touch and gos for training purposes?

Best regards,

Toto

Thank you Bryan, I've simply missed that Option...

However, can you help me out with the Voice Commands / SOPs for touch and gos? I couldnt find anything in the Manuals.

I.e.,the F/O does not accept / respond to the Flaps Challenge in the Landing Checklist. And I'm a bit unsure about the Autobrakes and the Speedbrakes ( which are usually not armed for touch and gos ).

Thanks in advance,

best regards

Hi Toto:

Ensure that you've selected Touch and Go's for the Approach Type prior to takeoff.

Landing Checklist:

Speed brake allowed Voice responses:

Armed... Not armed... Disarmed.

Flap allowed responses:

25 green, 30 green, flaps 30, flaps 25, set and  checked

Speed brake you'd obviously not arm it.  Autobrake would be left disarmed as well.

Cheers,

Hello Bryan.

Just another quick question regarding touch and goes:

Upon touchdown there‘s a callout from the F/O that sounds a bit like „standing up“. What‘s actually the purpose of that callout?

Best regards,

Toto
