March 22, 20206 yr Is it possible to change the display settings on the G1000, especially the waypoint display (at the top of the PFD), as I am partially color blind and the magenta? is very hard for me to see. A yellow would be much easier for me. Thanks, Steve
March 22, 20206 yr There is a different G1000 for each Carenado plane. Which planes do you have that you would want this done to? It can be done, not sure what the copyright laws apply. Could contact Carenado explaining you problem and see what they say. I would ask if they can do it? If not, can someone else do it and will that be an issue with copyrights? There are people on these forums that have made changes to existing Carenado files, they may have some input. Just as long as there is no copyright issues, I can do it. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
March 22, 20206 yr The simple answer is yes, it can be done, by making some simple changes to some G1000 xml files. Why not start with one aircraft and see if it is truly better for you.. Bert
