P3Dv4 Have to go to Task Manager

Featured Replies

Hi, I have an issue where when I change an aircraft on the ground the sim is unresponsive. The new plane is there but keyboard commands and joystick do nothing. If I go to Task Manager and then back to P3D it is all good. Any ideas to sort this?

I always re - import that Aircraft's Controls Setting - which might just be different from the original one

That sounds like hardware not P3D are you using USB keyboard with your stick could be USB driver problem.

I have tried all sorts of things to no avail. I have noticed that it now seems only to be the keyboard where no keys seem to work. The AV8R-01 joystick works but I have to do 1) hit the Windows key (goes to Start Menu) hit again and back to the P3D screen and all is well again or 2) go to Task Manager and close and and all is well. No idea what is causing this. It never used to happen?
