Where is the default Cessna 172 in P3D v.4?

Recommended Posts

I must be blind, but I can't find either the 152 or 172 default in the P3D "vehicle" menu.

This thoroughly confusing vehicle menu is a nightmare to use. I'm looking for a simple plane I can load, turn off everything, and then switch to the Flight1 Citation Mustang for a dark and cold cockpit..

There aren't any 152s or 172s anymore. I used to fly the 172 in the old days. But they took it out. Then I moved to the Beechcraft 58 -- and shortly thereafter, they took out the Beechcraft 58. So I moved myself up to the Airbus. Just when I became competent with the Airbus, they took out the Airbus. You get the picture.

Are you the person who bought version 4 three days before the release of version 5?

No, I just bought P3D for the first time a couple of months ago, was on FSXSteam before that. I'm just looking for a simple default plane, where I can turn off everything and then load the F1 Citation.

I don’t think the cessnas were ever in P3D - i’ve been using it since day 1 v1 - don’t think licensing with Textron was ever sorted. We used to have the carenado Bonanza up until fairly recently as a go-to GA.

The FSX 172 can be added to P3D without any dramas, it is one plane that i always add as the frame rates are magnificent (the 3d cockpit - not so much).

I would recommend the default Maule_M7_260C, it is the P3D equivalent of the Cessna in FSX. I have it set in my chosen default flight.
