No sayit response

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I hope everywhere everyone is well and safe with their loved ones.

I am new o P2Atc--proatc x user.

I am trying to make it work but struggling with the sayit function.I have installed English USA pack . I have reinstalled, and running under administrator.

I think I am missing something in my understanding.

I am getting no response when I press PTT either.

I do not use voice command-I just need to have the sayit running.

Also do I need to click something to make the copilot do everything.

I would like to buy this as it has some other good functions-but the way things are it looks a big no no.

I look forward to your help and suggestions.

I have tried to attache image of the interface ..but I do not see attache image option here.

All the best

Do you have a microphone installed and set up as the default Windows audio input device?  The Speech Recognition used by SayIt requires this.

Can you be more specific about what's not working?  Do the phrases show up?  If not, are you tuned to a valid frequency like Ground?

Is the radio powered on and the Power Indicator Green?

The default is for the Copilot to handle radios, but you can check that in the Config Speech tab.

The Copilot only responds to ATC and makes initial calls on frequency changes in flight.

You must find the right phrase and press SayIt on each of the following occasions on a typical flight:

  • Clearance Request
  • Engine Start and Pushback
  • Request for Taxi Instructions
  • Ready for Departure
  • Clear of Active
  • Request for Taxi-In instructions

This is because you are the only one who knows, for example, when you are ready to copy the clearance or ready to taxi.

Hi

many thanks for reply.

I have the a plantronic head set plugged in-but do not want to use the speech function-just the sayit.

Not sure if set to default-I am not very cleaver with computers.sorry.

No phrases appear.

The sayit does not go to green an some videos show.

I go to frequency tab and click ground.

I don't know how to tell if radio is on-but the frequencies change on bottom left panel when I rotate between ground ,approcah etc. I assume it must be on.

Since this posting I tried to run the grammar function and that does not work either.

I would like to send screen shots but I do not see the option to attache image -just the send link option.

Once again many thanks for the suggestions-I am sure its some thing minor-I will re install and follow more you tube videos.

Qas,

If you can send the screenshots to me at [email protected], I can help you get it going.

If you are tuned to Ground and the Power Indicator is Green (bottom left area of main screen), then you should see phrases. If not, you may have a missing Grammar file and reinstalling the full program without uninstalling anything might do the trick.  If not, send me the screenshots directly and I should be able to help get you going.

Thanks,

Dave

I have watched few more videos- i think the issue could be my radio frequencies  do not change correctly.

I will send the screen shoots in few hours time.
