Check instructions

What? You mean I am expected to read them??

To be fair Ray, that might have something to do with it, I'll give it another go over the weekend.

Cheers.

I didn’t mean to be disrespectful but the layering of the UTX entries in scenery.cfg and their overall placement is critical to seeing things properly.

Ray, not for one second did I think you were.

My comment was made 'tongue in cheek', I suppose I should have put a smiley after it.

Cheers.

Don't worry, no offence taken. If you locate the Flight One folder under P3Dv5 and then select UtEurFSX folder open UltimateTerrainX.pdf.

Don't worry anout all the docs referencing FSX. It works the same with P3D. Pages 31-32 covers the scenery layering. Ensure the UTX entries have a higher priority than Addon Scenery. Here's how mine are layered.

Great stuff @Ray Proudfoot thanks for that, can definitely see the difference now.

Happy with most of it but not all. Had to play around with Custom,Urban and Veg as they were overwriting some of my Orbx full-fat areas.

The default installation was putting all UTX way down the priority list and as per instructions I moved them all to the top. However as I have

said and as per instructions, I had to move the Custom and Urban below all my add-ons.

I notice you have all (?) your UTX files quite a way down your library, am I correct?

Cheers.

@Sparkrite, glad you can see a difference. 😁

I would keep the UTX entries together if you can but I understand if they clash with Orbx stuff.

They mustn’t be below the default scenery layers but there’s no upper limit. I have them below my airports since the UTX scenery should be between airports and default scenery.
