RC4 sound goes very quiet

Featured Replies

I started using RC4 again recently and noticed a strange sound issue. All of a sudden the sound from RC4 goes very quiet and I can't really hear the instructions. Also, it appears as AI is talking with ATC at the same time I am, so the voices overlap. I have default ATC off.

For sound going quiet go into control panel/sounds/sound settings. Hit communication tab, then click on mute, press apply, then "do nothing" apply and OK.

Need to redo it every so often!

@Gazzareth, I used to have to do that frequently. But since a Windows 10 update it appears to be cured.

@Tomaz Drnovsek it's recommended you leave the ATC Sound option on but reduce the volume level to zero.

Stopped for a while for me as well, but had to do it again yesterday.... so unfortunately still going on!

I will do that. Thank you both!
