Thanks for version 4.3c... 2 comments

I installed this 4.3c and the panel lights are all working on my sim again. Thanks!

I have 2 comments:

1. suggest RealityXP.GTN.ini line LinkHsi = true

It is default to false and the HSI will not change course automatically when on a GPS route

2. There are 2 dll.xml files and only 1 needs the XMLTools64.dll entry

The installer is placing an entry in both dll.xml files, %appdata and %programdata

Great to hear all is working!

Regarding setting LinkHsi = true, I do that as well for convenience, but at the expense of realism as far as the Falcon 50 and Lear35A are concerned. These a/c currently have mechanical and not glass HSI gauges. As a result they would require some kind of a special servo on the HSI for the GTN 750 to be able to slew the mechanical course indicator to a new course. With a glass HSI, which the coming FMC equipped Lear 35A will have, slewing the course indicator is easy. So it is common that a/c with a mechanical HSI require the pilot to manually move the course indicator when required. I think that is one reason the GTN750 provides a message when it is time to adjust the course indicator.

You also need to set Connect GPS to VOR  = true if it is not already setup that way (it may be, I think I had Mark do that by default), but it is worth checking.

I did find two dll.xml files (didn't know there were two of them). One at C:\...........\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 which I did know about,  and one at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4. This latter dll.xml did not have XMLTools64.dll entry however, only the first location had that.

I had both dll entries it might be another addon that did the other entry... Hmm. And I set connect gps to VOR as false I like manually entering VOR stations and tuning them independent of the GTN

Yes, addons do 'add' an dll.xml. The second one I found was just for the WX radar.

I don't think I understand what you mean by this. Are talking about when the GTN is in VLOC mode?

Check that the AP tracks GPS courses and approaches correctly with Set GPS to VOR as false. The AP has to work correctly with both the RXP and Flight1 GTNs but they use different values for some things and as I recall the solution was to Set GPS to VOR as true for the RXP.  EDIT: Actually, I now think the solution was to set this to false.  This might of only been an issue with the Falcon 50, can't remember now since it has been quite a while since we developed the AP code for these a/c. This setting has no effect when you are in VLOC mode using VORs.

Link gps to vor as false changes the tuning of VOR stations manually through the nav radios I find and does not stop the plane from flying the gps route. I like to tune VOR stations through the nav radios.

The Connect GPS to VOR setting does more than just control what sets the VOR freq, but as long as the a/c AP works as it should, fine.  I think it is a bit unusual that the Lear (and falcon 50) has separate Com1/Nav1 radios. Usually the GPS functions as the Com1/Nav1 and the additional radios are COM2/Nav2. Bottom line, whatever works for you.

I'll turn that to true and try. Another setting UseRyanTcad should be true that will display traffic

I edited the above. I went back an looked at what I have and now think Connect GPS to VOR should be false as you had it. Sorry for the confusion. Late night and old age is not a good combination!  🤕  However, I think you can tune Nav frequencies with the Nav1 radio regardless of that setting.

In other airplanes the VOR was locked and I could not tune it in the radios so I get in the habit of setting it to false and it lets me tune the frequency in nav1 and nav2 radios

Well, I still think the setting should be false for other reasons. And unlike the Falcon50, the Lear doesn't have a Nav1 radio separate from the GTN.

Thanks for the RyanTcad suggestion, I have not looked at that.

I found one more suggestion. Right/left click logic on some switches. I can't right click for example the ignition switch to turn off. Left click turns on and left click turns off the left and right ignition.

As pointed out in the Lear manual, typically left click is used for toggle switches on and off, left and right click combinations are used for 3 way switches (left click up, right click down), and also for knobs left and right. You can also usually use the mouse wheel for knobs left and right, and mouse wheel click to push a knob.

To each his own.

Most of the 2 way switches, ex:lights, left and right click on and off.

Fortunately,  not usually with FSW planes.
