April 29, 20206 yr Notice it in V4 and V5. Actually it's nothing new. I just didn't know if there was a setting that made the terrain look less pixelated. If you look at the hill you will see what i mean. https://imgur.com/a/MMpvmzp 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
April 29, 20206 yr I could be wrong, but I notice occasionally, spots that never completely finish morphing Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
April 29, 20206 yr Anisotropic filtering smooths out textures which are viewed at oblique angles, so that could be one thing which is having a bearing on your sim depending on what your settings are, although keep in mind that your GPU's settings can sometimes either enhance or work in opposition to the settings in the sim's options, so it's worth trying a number of combinations of both options. Another setting which can result in that kind of appearance is the sharpening features of your GPU which may override your sim options. Now I can't tell you what they are on the NVidia software because I use an AMD GPU with Radeon software, but it would be the equivalent of the AMD Radeon utility's Sharpening and Sharpness sliders. Too high a setting on those will give things an appearance similar to over-sharpening an image in Photoshop and creating spurious image noise and colouration. May 8, 20206 yr Author I'm still playing around and can't seem to find a way to fix this. Here are some shots at MSP If you zoom in below you can see the blocky view in the grass.
