May 1, 20206 yr Good day, I hope you are all doing well. I have purchased and downloaded the latest version of Düsseldorf V2 for Prepar3D v4.4 (I have version 4.5 installed) and noticed that all the SODE jetways are missing (airport lights are working fine). I checked that SODE is activated and registered, and that the Add-On is enabled in Prepar3D. It's the only airport where it happens. For example, in Palma de Mallorca, all jetways work correctly. I checked the ProgramData SODE folders, and have several .xml, as well as the SimObjects folder which contains the models of the jetways. I also deleted the EDDL.ini GSX configuration file in %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX in case it was the problem. Is there a fix for this? Thank you very much in advance. Stay safe and healthy. Kind regards, Pablo Edited May 1, 20206 yr by Pablo__sk8
May 1, 20206 yr Try making a clean reinstall, which often helps: 1. Uninstall JustSim EDDL. 2. Manually remove any remaining files with EDDL in their names, including ones from P3D's SimMarket folder, the SODE folders (both SimObjects and xml) and from your Appdata/Roaming/Virtuali/GSX folder. 3. Check if you happen to have Cartayna jetways installed before - see in your Addon Manager/FSdreamteam/exclude folder (including its scenery subfolder) - remove any EDDL files. 4. Launch P3D and let the scenery rebuild. 5. Exit P3D. 6. Install the fresh JustSim EDDLv2 from the latest installer 7. Launch P3D and let the scenery rebuild again. 8. Select EDDL - go to any stand with with a jetway and your favourite airliner selected. 9. Wait for a few minutes (yes, sometimes it may take so much) till the GSX rebuilds the files. If you still can't see the jetways: 10. restart P3D and go to EDDL again. If you still can't see the jetways, we will worry later. 😉 Edited May 1, 20206 yr by Rafal

May 1, 20206 yr Hi, Did you run the Justsim Autogen Library? http://justsim.tech/Autogen-Library-Installer/ https://www.dropbox.com/s/ijuj5axqatgs54k/JustSim Autogen Library Installer (offline version).zip?dl=0 Faisal Edited May 1, 20206 yr by djgadget Faisal Niazi

Open the folder where your EDDLv2 is installed (probably SimMarket inside your P3D folder) and check the EDDL.ini file. In the 'data' folder, there should be one subfolder called 'Misc' and 'GSX' inside of it. There are two EDDL.ini files. Choose the one which suits you (depending if you bought and installed SODE VDGS or not). Then make sure this file is in your EDDL's scenery folder. Also open this ini file and make sure your AFCAD path is corret - it must point at its location. The example from mine (yours will be different of course): [general] afcad_path = G:\Prepar3D_v4\SimMarket\JustSim-EDDL v2 P3Dv4\data\Scenery\AFX_EDDL.bgl Again, do not forget to relaunch the sim and let the scenery and GSX libraries rebuilt before you check the result. I have a good tradition of launching the sim once again after the rebuild. I hope it may be the culprit! Edited May 1, 20206 yr by Rafal

Thank you.

May 1, 20206 yr Pablo Hi man........ try this :1) Open your XML files from that airport as "Wordpad". (right click with mouse, open as wordpad)2) scroll with your mouse on this code text, down to the bottom.3) click 1 time with your mouse AFTER the last word, or symbol, on the right side.... just the very last one.4) IF you see your cursor blinking, ready to type the next word on the same line, then this is wrong.5) In this case, you have to press 1 time ENTER on your keyboard, so that your cursor starts blinking UNDER the last coding line ...... in simple words, you need to have a blank line under the rest of that code.6) close that xml file and save it. ... and THIS is how every XML file should be.... ALWAYS !!! I saw this from other games, THATS why i know it. Let me know if it worked for you Pablo and ..... happy flying 😉 Edited May 1, 20206 yr by mitsos

May 2, 20206 yr Author Good day everyone, Thank you all for your kind help. I managed to get the jetways working. They just appeared randomly haha. There was nothing wrong in your setup, so all the situation was weird. I suspect the loading time which, as I mentioned, sometimes takes many minutes or requires additional restarts. It seemed to work finally. Enjoy you flights! Edited May 2, 20206 yr by Rafal
