Opinions on this PC

So I don’t have a very good PC for flight simulation and I’m looking to upgrade. But I don’t really know much about the RAM AND Graphics and Video Cards. I would like to know your opinion on this pc

I have high expectations for my flight sim and even updarades I could make to this PC. I would like to know how it would run X-plane, FSX and P3D

Any help would be greatly appreciated

@Danegan4321, it's reasonable but you would need to lower settings to get decent performance. There is an imbalance between the CPU and GPU. The mobo needs to be better too.

Are you really going to continue with FSX when P3D will give much better performance?

What's your budget?

The RAM is junk (2400mhz stuff).  You want 3200mhz stuff at least.

Graphics card is pretty poor too, even the 2060 super would be a much better bet.

As far as I can tell, the one component that makes the least difference to the way these three simulators perform is the speed of the RAM. I have never seen anyone report an increase in any simulator performance data after "upgrading" the speed of the motherboard RAM. I would agree that the 1060 is rapidly becoming outdated but the alternatives are much more expensive.

So How would this be:

Intel Core I7 Eight Core processor i7-9700K (3.6GHz) 12MB Cache

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING: ATX, LG A1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs- RGB Ready

Memory:  32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (4x8GB)

There's numerous threads about the importance of RAM speeds on here, done years ago, by some of the most tech savvy guys on here.  However, my point stands.  2400 memory is consumer level off the shelf office pc spec
