May 3, 20206 yr Hello, You know well this issue from earlier versions and now autogen buildings patching again, I have lowered draw distance and autogen density, I have also locked fps at 30 but they didn't help. My system consists of intel 6700k @4.6 ghz and 1080ti with 16gb ram. Does anybody encounter this issue? Uygar Best Regards
May 3, 20206 yr Thanks for bringing this up - again. Autogen loads continually when I lowering Autogen Draw Distance to Medium or below, independent on any other setting. Any setting above triggers patches loading. Thats's been the behavior since 4.0 which I keep observing in 5.0 (+/- HF) again. I feel really frustrated as I was in hope they would amend this, but no change at all. I am about to give up now. Obviously, I'll have to live with autogen patch loading till the end of my life (now 68). May 4, 20206 yr Yep, same here. But with "enhanced atmospherics" on, the haze is at least so big, that an autogen draw distance of "medium" is masked and sufficient for me when doing IFR flights. For VFR, I can live with the patchy loading for now. Used to it... What bothers me a little bit: due to the "reflections" of the ground textures, the autogen draw distance is more prominent when looking in the direction of the sun. It is more obvious now, that autogen does not reach out that far (with the setting medium). Pro's and con's, as it always have been with this ESP engine...
