I need some help with scenery repairing. I installed DD KORD v5 and then I uninstalled it. I liked FSDT better actually. DD does not offer uninstaller, instead I had to remove bunch of files manually per scenery manual. I deleted files per manual but something went wrong and default KORD does not look right. Is there a way I can restore default KORD? Thanks

Since the scenery is added to the P3D scenery library using the add-on.xml method, there are just two things to delete.  The folder for the scenery in your my documents\chicago airports x (or it might just be chicago x) which will remove the add-on from your sim, and wherever you installed the scenery (default is in the prepar3d v5\addon scenery\Chicago X folder will remove the data for the add on from your hard drive.  As far as I know and in my experience with DD products, they don't modify anything else, so deleting those two folders is all you should need to do to uninstall.  However, if you want to keep KPWK and KMDW and just remove KORD, run the installer again and uncheck KORD and it will remove just the KORD scenery and leave the others there.

So...if you did that and are having an elevation problem, it is probably coming from elsewhere. If you can share a bit more about what you deleted, we might be able to get you pointed in the right direction.  Do you have Orbx Vector installed? If so, maybe there's an AEC in vector that got turned on or off?

I have a feeling I deleted some other files by accident. I seriously doubt but it looks like that. I reinstalled scenery update from P3D again and that didn’t help. I noticed even more issues down the line. I ended up reinstalling the whole sim again. Luckily I didn’t have much stuff installed in v5 yet.  Thanks for help.
